The use of optical fibres for lighting is rapidly growing as they are easy to install, simple to maintain, safe and suitable for a very wide range of applications.
The advantage of installing fibre optic lighting in special types of applications such as museum, swimming pools or fountains is that fibre transmits the light but without the heat from the light source which is important especially in museum displays/paintings, that could be damaging by heat or intense light.
Fibre Optic LED light source illuminator 16W & 45W uses constant current technology that has low consumption, long life, no noise, pure light color with gradual change, jump selector switch and automatic synchronization. Underwater lighting can be achieved safely with the use of fibre optic lighting since the fibre is nonconductive and the light source power is low voltage and can be placed in a remote location using IP54 stainless steel housing for outdoor application.
